Within the department we have experience in dealing with a wide range of personal injury claims including:

• Employer liability claims
• Road Traffic Accident claims
• Slipping and Tripping claims
• Child Abuse claims

We have dealt with Group Litigation in respect of claims made against Staffordshire County Council and Stoke-on-Trent Council for abuse suffered by children in care during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Jonathan Beresford is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers at Litigator level. Within the Department, Mr Andrew Martin is also a Senior Litigator and member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

We are able to discuss with you various forms of funding for your Claim including:

• Conditional Fee Agreements
• Before the Event Insurance (often through Home Insurers)
• Private fee paying arrangements

Public Funding (Legal Aid) is not usually available for Personal Injury matters except in very limited circumstances.
